and infectiology

I trained at the Karl-Franzens University and the Medical University of Graz. After graduating as Doctor medicinae universae in 2006, I trained as a general practitioner (graduating in 2011) at the hospitals of Steiermärkische Krankenanstalten GesmbH. In addition to stays abroad in Switzerland (University Hospital Zurich), I have been a specialist in internal medicine since 2018 and a specialist in infectiology since 2021.

I now work at the LKH Graz II West in the Department of Internal Medicine, Department of Gastroenterology and Infectiology. In addition to internal medicine, my speciality is infectiology. Since 2012, I have been working in particular on the topics of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis, sexually transmitted diseases and travel medicine.

I specialise in internal medicine and infectiology and I am also a general practitioner. I would be delighted to welcome you to my elective doctor's surgery for comprehensive advice, care and treatment.

As an elective doctor, I do not have a direct contract with the health insurance companies. Of course, I will support you in submitting the documents to get a reimbursement from your insurance company.

As a long-standing board member of AIDS-Hilfe Steiermark, I am very proud to have also been elected deputy chairwoman of the organisation in 2023.

The close cooperation with AIDS-Hilfe Steiermark enables me to provide optimal patient care beyond medical matters.

Further training and lecturing

In addition to the advanced training diploma from the Styrian Medical Association, I regularly take part in national and international advanced training courses. I also give lectures on the topics of HIV, PEP and PrEP.
